A bridal fair is also a great place to research and plan a wedding. Bridal fairs are usually thrown annually during the spring season in larger cities across the country. At a bridal fair, a prospective bride can make important connections in photography, wedding venues, cakes, and clothing. A bride may also be able to find a great stationary company at a bridal fair. Stationary companies are an ideal place to purchase wedding invitations, thank-you cards, and save-the-date cards.
There are many designs and styles to choose from in invitations and save-the-date cards. The new trend is refrigerator magnets. These cards alert guests about the date of the wedding, which are traditionally sent out four months prior to the wedding date. On the other hand, wedding invitations are usually sent out approximately two months before the big day.
In addition to the above activities a bride and groom need to remember, there are many other aspects of the wedding-planning process, including but not limited to: choosing a bridal party, the wedding attire for men and women, and completing a bridal registry.
